‘Flood it’ a live silkscreen and music event, held at the Hopkinson Gallery, Nottingham. Floot it is a collobrative project between Waste Studio & Gringo Records. It’s aim is to merge both the arts and music scene together in one event where the crowd get to listen to live bands and buy limited edition work at an affordable price. The event has proven to be a great success with crowds of 300+ turning up to previous Floodits. Artists, designers, illustrators and creatives are invited to take part in the event and produce a one colour design that is then screen printed live onto garments by either the artist themselves or Waste.
I am very excited to have been invited to take part in this months Flood It held at the Hopkinson Gallery, 21 Station Street on the 20th November.
As you may know, all my stencil paintings are one off original works with no replications. However I have always said that if I were to create a run of prints that the image would be specifically created for the purpose of producing a run of prints, apart from my single layer “Bear” image which can be seen on apparel, stickers, walls etc. So this is the first and only place to grab my first ever screen print. It’s a world Exclusive!!! Hopefully you are in Nottingham or close enough to come along and check it out.
