Well we are nearly at the end of what has been an incredible exhibition. Alter Ego was held at Red Bull Studios, London from 10th May until the 16th, however we were requested to remain in the space for one more day. So that is exactly what we did.
The response towards the show has been nothing short of humbling, I personally didn’t experience one person who came in to the space and didn’t leave inspired, amazed and enlightened. Those people who purchased work, well the are not only leaving with all of the mentioned but with some amazing works of art.
It has been a lot of work curating this and I cannot thank Red Bull and Red Bull Studios enough for all their help and efforts to make this exhibition become what it is/was.
I also must thank the artists, Smug, RichT, Waste, Guy McKinley, WJC and Robert Ball for working hard to create such amazing pieces for the show again making this exhibition like no other group show you have ever experienced. Hopefully we will get to work with eachother again.
For now it will be back up to Glasgow and get in the studio of work on some new work and have fun making a mess in there.
I am already thinking about what will be next in terms of curating a show in the near future. It’s time to put pen to paper and make some more ideas come to form.
