Before the New Year I received an email from the good people of Method Furniture who wanted to discuss with me about the possibility of a possible collaboration. After further discussion and getting a better understanding of their work and vice versa. I was invited to paint a piece on to this sample box and let them decide if they wish to take the collaboration further.
Method Furniture was founded by Callum Robinson, who has over ten years of international experience, and Architect and designer Maria Giannasi.
Their aim ”is to build beautiful hardwood furniture, using traditional techniques, but adding something just a little bit different. Timeless, unfussy, clean lined & sophisticated. Contemporary bespoke luxury, individually hand-crafted in Scotland.”
I am very pleased with the way my submission cam out especially with the way the grain of the wood can be seen subtly through the paint.
